February has never really been very fun for me.

Two of my best friends, who I was closer to than most of my family, died in February. One of them died just last year. To say it still bothers me would be an understatement.A week after she died, my semi-estranged girlfriend decided it'd be a good idea to leave me.

Another friend violated my trust to a rather extreme degree when I spent the night at her place several years ago, in February. If a girl forces sex on a guy who doesn't want it, it's still rape.

And, much to my chagrin, a day in which couples celebrate how much they love one another is right around the corner. Guess who is single, surrounded by couples and keeps thinking about opening a vein.
